And here you thought "Star Wars" is for guys only?
And what's a Star Wars celebration without COSPLAY?
WHAT: "ZERO Cosplay present STAR WARS COSPLAY Competition at Star Wars Day Jakarta Celebrations. BALAI KARTINI May 18-19 (10am-9pm). Wear your coolest costume and register at our ZERO Cosplay community booth. For one winner, only the coolest costume will get a VINTAGE 1978 KENNER EWOK Mask and gimmick, very RARE indeed. May the prize be with you."
So the folks decided to build a life-sized Snowspeeder for Star Wars Day Jakarta, and it looks to be a one-man seater too … come check it out for yourselves from May 18-19th @ Balai Kartini (2nd Floor)!
The video is named "Annoying Misel" but I guess I'm "lucky" I don't understand Bahasa, innit … (but she's pretty cute tho … am just sayin'!)

One aspect of Star Wars Day Jakarta (launching this weekend May 18-19) I am really looking forward, is the ART of Star Wars, as depicted by a slew of Asian-artists, and teased here are Singapore's Clogtwo with his take on "Darth Vader" (above) - to be had as a 1m x 1m print - and this jucilicious concoction (posted below) from Malaysia's Kenji Chai, and right after that, Orkibal shows us the "true" power of The Force! I am looking forward to be WOWed this weekend!

"Star Wars Day" may have ended on May 4th, but in Indonesia, celebrations have moved from Bandung (in 2012) to the capital of Indonesia this year, with "Star Wars Day Jakarta" happening between 18th to 19th of May, at venue Balai Kartini! And while Star Wars Day has come and gone in Singapore, May 4th has only just begun a world away! So I reckon tis an awesome 2-Day weekend celebrations for me! And as well for folks looking out for the Draw A Jawa and Draw A Wookie projects - with "Part 1" of each featured just, and "Part 2" to continue forth today/Sunday!
